What you can ask

MiniProto does not run a private chatbot. Your own assistant reads our public pages, looks up catalog parts, and pulls a live price. A person still reviews every build. For drawings and missing MPNs, use the quote checklist.

What do you need to quote?: Connector part numbers, pinout, lengths, wire, and quantity. Family names like JST or Molex are not enough. That list lives on the RFQ checklist if you want to send it to a person instead.
Is this connector in the catalog?: Give a housing MPN. The assistant can say whether we stock it and whether a simple end-to-end harness can be priced live.
What does this jumper cost?: Housing MPNs, pin map, length, and quantity in. An estimate and a design link out. That is not a signed quote and nothing is ordered.
Who are you and how do you work?: Kingston NY, no minimum order, engineer review on every build, typical lead times, and the work we do not take on.

What it cannot do

Invent missing part numbers or pin maps.
Price a branched, spliced, overmolded, or customer-supplied-parts harness.

Check the result

An assistant can misread a part number the same way a person can. These four lines tell you whether the price is for the harness you asked for.

The parts: Both connector part numbers should come back to you, each with its pin count. If one is not the part you meant, fix that line in the prompt and run it again.
The wires and the guesses: Anything you left out was chosen for you and should be listed back: wire type, gauge, and colour on each circuit. Name the ones you care about and it stops choosing for you.
The price and the lead time: A price per harness, a total for the quantity you asked for, and a lead time in business days. Read it as an estimate, not a signed-off build.
The design link: Open it. The same harness loads on our configurator canvas, ready for you to change. The link and the price hold for seven days, then you run the prompt again.
